Meet Jane!

​Jane became an orphan when her mother died giving birth to her. She has been living with her grandmother. When her grandmother became very ill, she went to live with her uncle. But he too is in extreme poverty, living on a small farm, and could no longer afford to take care of her. Jane was in danger of finding other ways to provide for her family and for herself, which is often what happens to young girls in Africa who experience extreme poverty.

Fortunately, Jane lives in the same town as Anne's brother who told Anne about Jane's situation. Anne immediately called me to ask if we could take Jane in. After prayer and a visit to meet Jane, Anne and Frank brought Jane home to HOPE Home! The girls were excited to welcome Jane and she has quickly become one of the family!

Please pray that Jane will continue to adjust to life in a home with 12 big "sisters" and two loving "parents" (Jane has never known her father) and that she truly knows how much Jesus loves her!
